i hope you can help please i have the s800 what is hapening
i can watch the tv all day then at 11 at night i get no signal untill the folling day im using the dvb tunner i have tryed other free view boxes and there fine this is driving me mad lol. thanks for all your help and time.

Hi Spark,

Can you tell us wich firmware you use on the S800? Use you the dvb-t tunner on the S800 or another dvb-t tunner with the AV-in on the S800. Tell us more, so we can you help better.

If you come from italy then, there is an update for you on the site from Emtec. Possible that this may be solve your problem. But remember, not every update is better.

hello Cresta thanks for your reply the version im using is sw 6.2 and i live in the uk and im using the dvb on the s800 many thanks for your time and help. :)

Thanks you for your repley.
So you don't need the firmware update from Italy dvb-t.

What is extactly your firmware? The "sw 6.2" is the software version not the firmware version. You can find Firmware version between "(" and ")" behind the sw version.

Thanks you for give the firmware version. This is 519 as you says, it is really old :).

I think, the best way you can do, is to upgrate your firmware to 751. You can find it at http://www.emtec-international.com/en ... .php?categorie=STMOB#s800 because i don't never have the 519 version on it.

But it is too early to conclude that your problem is resolved. Indeed it is not at 11 at night to conclude that the problem is resolved, despite your firmware upgrate afternoon.........

I was there a little bit afraid.
Normally an upgrade must fix it so i think.
I can not easily know why.

Couple things I can think to do:
1. Is the timer on the cube set properly?
2. Is the cube connected to the Internet?
If yes, works the settings good?
3. Have you set the time-zone on the cube properly if it
exists?
