Hi all,
I am a newbie and I want more information. I buy the Emtec MovieCube S800 and have the original firmware 751 on it. Befor I hack the Emtec, must I first upgrate the original Firmware 751 to the originel Firmware 849 on the Emtec Site??? Can i downgrate to the Original Firmware 751 if i have upgrate the Original Fimware to 849 or upgrate to the Hack Firmware MHDWorld.?? Thanks for it good work have interessing on it. You can write any firmware version to the S800 (as long as it's intended for the S800 of course).
So it doesn't matter which firmware version you have installed or which firmware version you want to flash. For orginal firmware go to http://www.emtec-international.com/en ... .php?categorie=STMOB#s800 I suggest you use "Honki's" 8.54 beta. Regards, Mr. Breaker

First: Thanks you for the repley MrBreaker. Second: Can you tell me why you suggest me to use the "Honki 8.54_ beta" verson and not the MHDWorlds. What is the difference? Third: Honki has an "Honki 849_3.51" version on the first page, so where can I download the "Honki 854-beta" version and what is the difference with the "Honki 849_3.51" For the rest: Very good work for the Developpers and also for Honki. Cresta.

It is quite search this forum, but I have a portion of the answer that I was waiting for. Thanks to Hindi63 for the Quick Installation Guide in PDF format.
It can be found at http://emtec.mhdworld.com/modules/new ... hp?topic_id=4702&forum=33 This tell me what the difference are between the Honki Firmware and the MHDworld Firmware. Now I can't see what the difference are between the Honki Firmware 849_3.51 and the Honki Firmware 854-beta. Best Regards. Cresta
